I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) specializing in individual therapy, family therapy and counselor development in the metropolitan Atlanta area.
From 2013 to 2016, I served as a counselor in the Solutions Atlanta Intensive Outpatient Program with Dr. Robert Margolis. Previously, I worked as the Lead Counselor at the Nelson L. Price Treatment Center, a residential drug rehabilitation center for adolescents, as well as Practicum/Internship Site Supervisor for Argosy and Richmont Universities. I have over 10 years of experience in the counseling and addiction recovery fields including serving as Treatment Coordinator for addictionologist, Dr. Guy H. Sommers, and a clinician at Ridgeview Institute and Peachford BHS of Atlanta. As a graduate of Argosy University specializing in Counseling Psychology, I am currently serving as a private practitioner working with adults, adolescents, families, couples and counseling professionals seeking LPC licensure in Georgia. Some of my specialities include life transitions, depression, anger management, addiction recovery and counselor development.
As an interactive, solution-focused therapist, my approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
